FRIENDSHIP GAMES
FG 39: OCTOBER 19TH, 2024
AB Samahan travels up to Cal State Fullerton every October to participate in Friendship Games, where collegiate Filipinx Organizations across California compete in "field day" style games, do a short 1-minute Roll Call dance, and see who has the most spirit in their school's chants. Founded by CSUF's Pasa Kaibigan, the event brings together hundreds of Fil-Am students in the values of Spirit, Pride, Unity, and Friendship (SPUFs), and we're ready to bring to the heat!

Games
Co-ed teams from each school will compete in various games on CSUF's fields, including:
Alpine Green: Two teams of 4 will be strapped to ski slats and travel across the length of the field as fast as they can. Teams will switch off at each end of the field.

Conveyor Belt: Players will transport a "package," the package being one of their players, by rolling across the field.
​
Groundhog: Players must travel across the field by crawling as quickly as they can through their team members' legs.
​
The Nasty: Teams of 10 players must transport a pipe held in between their legs while running across the field . The pipe must then be dropped off to the next player, and the game ends once all members have carried the pipe across.
​
Up and Under: Players must pass a ball to each other across the length of the field, alternating between going over their heads and between their legs.
